When more than 3 Tipsters are in agreement the average ROI increases by around 10%.
If you follow 3 or more professional Tipsters your profitability will increase, losing streaks will be ironed out and reliability will improve.
However, subscribing to multiple tipsters can be an expensive business, so, we do it for you!
We monitor multiple professional tipsters on your behalf.
Our Tipsters Tips
In order to bring you the best available tips we subscribe to multiple Tipsters anonymously, and that has two main consequences:
- You will never know which tipster or tipsters you are following.
- We are safe in the knowledge that we are receiving the tipsters premium tips and not a sub-standard selection of picks because we publish them on to you.
Another advantage to be gained in using multiple Tipsters is the ability to rate our confidence in their picks according to the number of them that are in agreement on the result. This is the rating system we use:
- Green rating – 5 or more.
- Amber rating 3 or 4.
- Red rating 2 or 3
Anything under 2 is not published.
We also use the Red rating for our accumulators and that is simply because of the lower chances of them coming in. They are fun to do which is primarily why we include them but they do come with enhanced risk, if they win then the rewards are great but the likelihood of that is reflected in the odds.
Our serious picks will always be the Green and Amber rated selections and it is these that are published as our ‘Consensus’ Tipster Tips.
English Football League Fixture Predictions
As well as the tipster tips we also publish league table predictions for every English football league fixture every weekend. These predictions use a mixture of statistical analysis such as Poisson distribution calculations and consensus opinion among our tipsters and a combination of other immeasurable factors, it is therefore impossible for us to rate each predicted result along the same lines of our traffic light system for the tipster tips.
Measured Results
We keep statistical records of our tipsters tips and football league predictions performance so that we can publish performance figures. We do not include accumulators in those figures, but we do include them in our ROI (Return On Investment) figures as they can have a profound impact on these if they come in – and – the ROI at the end of the day is what we are all interested in.
Spreading your Bets
How much you bet on each selection will come down to how big your bankroll is and what percentage of it you allocate to your weekly wager. We publish a guideline spread of your betting pot according to a standard £20 weekly wager. The £20 betting pot is based upon your first 4 -5 offers which should result in at least £100 profit and we recommend a 20% pot from that simply because if you lose all of the bets you place then all it takes is one offer to replenish your bankroll. Plus, if it wins then your bankroll and betting pot will grow together. A more detailed explaination of how this works can be found in the Bankroll Management tutorial.
For our purposes here though, the average number of Green and Amber tips published will be around 12 (give or take). As an example if there were 8 Green selections and 4 Amber selections then we would spread our pot over the bets at £2 on each Green and £1 on each Amber selection. If you then wanted to place a bet on an accumulator then we would advocate reducing a Green selection or two to £1 to release some of your pot for a speculative punt on an accumulator.
